Social networking for photographers just may be the best thing for photographers since digital photography! Yep, it’s that good!

It is critical that photographers take a look at and understand social networking for photographers so that they won’t miss out on the platform to increase public awareness of their work and to market those with photography businesses.

Social networking websites include Facebook, Twitter and MySpace, just to name a few – with Facebook the largest and the most popular which also just recently passed Google as the most visited website in the world!

The key to social networking is using the sites responsibly to build relationships.

Photography is “person-to-person” in my opinion. And social networking ‘gives’ the appearance of ‘extended person-to-person’ connections and relationships. So, it seems then, that successful social networking for photographers is about relationship building.
